More than just a roof deck. Perform-A-Deck is an integral roof deck assembly that offers a unique combination of both superior structural performance and architectural beauty. Each Perform-A-Deck system is individually designed based on project-specific structural and architectural design criteria. However the general components of the Perform-A-Deck system are as follows:

1. Galvanized steel deck section designed to meet all vertical and horizontal (shear) loading and wind uplift forces (acoustical deck also available)

2. Dens-Deck mineral board thermal barrier (where required by building code)

3. Polyisocyanurate rigid insulation boards (to meet specified R-values)

4. Dens-Deck mineral board or Oriented Strand Board top surface (to facilitate the attachment of the roofing system)

5. Perform-A-Shield ice and water membrane or #30 roofing felts (to protect the Perform-A-Deck components from moisture and to 'dry-in' the building structure)

All components are installed by OSHA-certified erection personnel, and are fully warranted by Martin Fireproofing for 10 years. In many instances we are able to partner with the specified roofing manufacturer to offer a combined (or 'joint') warranty that offers single-source protection and accountability from the roof down to the structure.
